RUN DMC founded in 1983 by Joseph Simmons, Darryl McDaniels and Jason Mizell was one of the most influential acts in the history of hip-hop culture. They were the first in their genre to be nominated for a Grammy and have their video aired on MTV. Their legacy is unparalleled and influence still seen and heard today.
