The Animals Observatory

Based in Spain, The Animals Observatory is the result of a love at first sight scenario between two people, Laia Aguilar and Jan Andreu. Having been a long-time admirer of Laia Aguilar’s work during her time as creative director for Bobo Choses, Jan Andreu proposed they join forces to found a new fashion brand for children. Laia Aguilar sees children’s fashion as an artistic tool through which she can express her own extraordinary world. With the Animals Observatory you can expect beautiful, colourful and unique prints on modern shapes and fabrics.

Sustainability is no longer an afterthought, it is the driving force of everything they do. They know fashion is one of the world’s most resource-intensive industries so everything is designed with this in mind. They focus on sustainable fabrics and material innovation as well as collaborating with suppliers.
